"Comic Book Crazy" Feature Length Documentary

DorVal Films Inc. and Comicbookculture.ca is proud to announce our Kickstarter Campaign to complete our first feature length documentary called, “Comic Book Crazy”. In 2014 the 20^th anniversary of Fan Fest comic book convention took place in Toronto Canada and our cameras were there. What we captured was the energy and the organised confusion that comes with a major comic convention but from a unique perspective. Not flashy girls in character costumes or a premier of a major merchandise line of toys or feature film franchise. Instead we followed the adventures of four comic book store owners as they uprooted their store and then dropping it into the Metro Toronto Convention Center.

What you will experience in this documentary is, “the thrill of victory and the agony of soar feet”. This is a real down to earth look at the adventure behind the blue curtain. As you watch this group of pale face professionals dedicated to putting on a brave face as they sacrifice themselves, go without sleep and eat more slices of pizza than is recommended even by the comic book enthusiasts themselves and of course loving every minute.

Join our happy warriors as the ride the tiger for the four days that take several months to bring to life. Comic Book Crazy will put you on the other side of the table as 130,000 excited fans take these four stores to the potential breaking point.
